B.1. Logical CIs

Summary:
- Build a service-oriented CMDB by establishing Logical CIs (Business Services, Components, etc) to serve as a layer of abstraction underpinning the ITSM Processes.

Deliverables:
- Virtual workshops with key stakeholders to understand your Business and Processes to help identify and define the Logical CIs.
- Identification and definition of the attributes supporting the Logical CIs.
- Design and Configuration of the identified Logical CIs along with their initial data population in ServiceNow.



B.2. Infrastructure CIs

Summary:
- Design, Configure and Populate your CMDB by adding additional non-discovered CI Classes to further mature your CMDB.

Deliverables:
- Virtual workshops with key stakeholders to understand your Infrastructure and Processes to help identify and define the Infrastructure CIs.
- Identification and definition of the attributes supporting the Infrastructure CIs.
- Design and Configuration of the identified Infrastructure CIs along with their initial data population in ServiceNow.



B.3. CI Relationships

Summary:
- Define and establish CI Relationships between scoped CI Classes to add an additional dimension to your CMDB.

Deliverables:
- Virtual workshops with key stakeholders to understand your Processes to help identify and define the CI Relationships between scoped CI Classes.
- Design and Configuration of the identified CI Relationships along with their initial data population in ServiceNow.



B.4. Data Normalization

Summary:
- Reconcile CI Duplicates and normalize CI Records and CI Attributes in the CMDB.

Deliverables:
- Virtual workshops with key stakeholders to help identify and define the CI Classes and CI Attributes to be scoped for Normalization.
- Design, Configuration and Execution of the Data Normalization in ServiceNow.



B.5. Process Alignment with the CMDB

Summary:
- Identify and capture requirements to tweak existing ITSM Processes to leverage the CMDB.

Deliverables:
- Virtual workshops with Process Owners to help design and identify how their Processes can leverage the CMDB to automate and scale their day-to-day operations.
- Design and Configuration to support enhancements to the CMDB to help support the identified processes.
- Documented functional and technical requirements capturing tweaks and enhancements for these identified processes to leverage the CMDB.



B.6. CMDB Support for ServiceNow Upgrade

Summary:
- Ensure a smooth ServiceNow Upgrade by identifying and eliminating any impact to the CMDB, Discovery, Configuration Management and Asset Management.

Deliverables:
- Documented impact and remediation steps based on analysis of the ServiceNow Instance(s) scoped for upgrade.
- Configurations in ServiceNow to mitigate the identified defects.
- Alignment with your upgrade schedule, with post-migration troubleshooting and support for the CMDB, Discovery, Configuration Management and Asset Management.

What if I require only one of the Solutions above?
We can deliver individual Solutions at $10,000 each (three for $25,000) over a fixed duration of six weeks.



What configurations and updates do you make to ServiceNow?
During CMDB Foundation, we do make configurations or updates to ServiceNow limiting the impact to the CMDB Table Hierarchy and its related Tables.
