Why does QuickNexus focus exclusively on the CMDB?
How will the partnership work with QuickNexus?Top
QuickNexus focuses exclusively on the CMDB in ServiceNow. Thus any opportunity beyond the CMDB is directed to our Implementations Partners.
Conversely, we complement our Implementation Partners to enable them with capability specific to their CMDB Implementation and CMDB Enhancements by leveraging one or more of our QuickNexus CMDB Solutions.
Our focus on the CMDB is the underpinning factor supporting the synergetic relationship with our Implementation Partners.
How do the QuickNexus rates compare to our internal delivery rates?Top
QuickNexus rates are comparable to the internal delivery rates of our Implementation Partners for hourly contracts and fixed-price engagements and in some cases even up to 15% lower.
This applies to blended, on-site, on-shore and off-shore resources.
Does QuickNexus provide assistance with our Business Development?Top
Yes. Business Development efforts aligned with QuickNexus Solutions are supported as a part of our strategic partnership.
With this arrangement, resulting billable work associated with the CMDB in ServiceNow is executed by QuickNexus and all other billable work is executed by you.
In other scenarios where efforts are geared towards your internal strategy, unrelated to QuickNexus, or QuickNexus is leveraged as a White Label partner, a mutually agreed upon retainer or consulting fee is associated with these engagements.
How can we grow our pipeline leveraging QuickNexus?Top
CMDB is core to any ServiceNow Implementation. Typically, ServiceNow customers are either:
- Implementing their CMDB for the first time.
- Revisiting their existing CMDB Implementation.
- Expanding the scope of their existing CMDB Implementation.
All QuickNexus engagements leverage supporting assets and services for Business Development and Implementation, that are pre-created, validated and ready-to-use.
These can be used to initiate conversations with Clients to help them assess, build and enhance their CMDB in ServiceNow.
What exactly can we engage QuickNexus for?Top
We welcome any ServiceNow Implementation that is in scope of our CMDB Applications, CMDB Solutions and CMDB Offerings. This includes all aspects of CMDB Implementations in ServiceNow including, but not limited to processes like Configuration Management, Asset Management and automation of other ITIL processes driven by the CMDB.
We do not, however, take on engagements that are not CMDB centric.
Our Product integrates with ServiceNow. How can QuickNexus help?Top
Creating a certified integration for your product with ServiceNow is the first step. However, each customer implementation is unique, thus resulting in additional modifications to your ServiceNow Integration and requiring additional enhancements in ServiceNow.
Data associated with Configuration Items and Assets in the CMDB, is core to ServiceNow and helps drive supporting ITIL and non-ITIL processes. The success of your integration, and the value realized by your customers, depends on the design and quality of this data in ServiceNow. Incorporating the optimal controls and enhancements, in ServiceNow, will help your customers realize the benefits of your product via the ServiceNow Integration.
QuickNexus provides value by being a strategic Implementation Partner to holistically and successfully deploy your ServiceNow Integration and ensure that the data, your product relies on, is accurate, reliable and correctly designed in ServiceNow.
For T&M contracts, do we have to engage each QuickNexus resource at 100% utilization?Top
Though 100% utilization is definitely an option, we welcome engagements of the following three types:
- Fixed Weekly Hours for a Fixed Duration (Example: 15 hours per week for 8 weeks)
- Variable Weekly Hours for a Fixed Duration (Example: 20 hours over a period of the next 4 weeks)
- Variable Weekly Hours for a Variable Duration (Example: 50 hours of resource time, until its exhausted)
Does QuickNexus provide White Label Services?Top
QuickNexus does provide White Label Services.
In addition, you also have the option to license our pre-packaged assets and services to support ServiceNow Implementations.
However, it will be more advantageous to explicitly communicate the partnership with your customers:
- Partnerships between organizations is commonplace and well accepted by ServiceNow Customers.
- Partnerships are fairly evident due to the heavy reliance on resources during the engagement.
- Customers value partners, like QuickNexus, who bring expertise to the implementation.
How is IP (Intellectual Property) managed?Top
As a general rule, QuickNexus owns the IP for collateral / deliverables created for which there are no dollars exchanged for the collateral / deliverables.
More specifically, the nuances of IP are explicitly addressed contractually, are unique to an engagement and very often driven by the relationship with your Customer and the governing SOW.
How experienced is the QuickNexus Team?Top
Each member of the QuickNexus team is ServiceNow Certified. In addition to their ServiceNow expertise, each member has more than 10 years of industry experience.
This applies to on-site, on-shore and off-shore resources.
All on-site and on-shore resources are Citizens of the United States.
Why does QuickNexus focus exclusively on the CMDB?Top
CMDB is core to every ServiceNow Implementation. However, CMDB Implementations are very complex and often executed poorly.
At QuickNexus, we believe in delivering solutions that are simple, robust and scalable. This requires significant investment in designing and building pre-packaged solutions with supporting collateral to enable consistent and reliable implementations.
Focussing exclusively on the CMDB allows us to provide the level of expertise, quality and thoroughness that is required of a CMDB Implementation in ServiceNow.
